The 12mm wood that we use is very high quality 11 veneer plywood. Interior size of each cubicle is 10.5" high x 10.5" wide x 14" deep.

These cubbies and solid and well-made. I've purchased Little Colorado products in the past from a retail store and found them to be sturdy enough to hold up in a home-based preschool. I paid a lot more at retail, too, so this is a great deal.
