It is comfortable and it works for our island computer station in our kitchen. Small enough to fit under the counter yet comfortable and attractive.

I bought these for my remodelled kitchen. I chose the 29" to go by my island bar. They look beautiful and are very comfortable to sit on. They also have a small footprint so, for those not having a lot of space they work very well. The assembly was amazingly easy and the quality of the product would make you think it should cost more money. All solid wood constuction and very sturdy. There is nothing out there that compares to this product in this price range. I have looked all over retail stores and was not able to find what I wanted. This is the perfect product for my needs. You will be very happy if you do purchase these stools.
